Before you arrive

CANVAS is in Mundelein, Illinois, with free on-site parking and street-level access. Follow the address and arrival instructions shared with your confirmed booking. All session times are local to Chicago / Central Time.

Make time for the whole session

Your booked time includes setup and cleanup. Allow time to arrange lighting, prepare wardrobe and return furniture to its original location. Overtime and reset charges may apply under your booking agreement.

Plan your equipment and styling

Check the equipment list and share any specific lighting, props, wardrobe or preparation needs with the host. Some spaces, seasonal installations and wardrobe items are optional add-ons.

Care for the space

• Wear clean shoes on the cyclorama and keep shoes off the furniture.
• Return furniture and props to their original positions.
• Keep food and drinks away from furniture and specialty sets.
• Supervise children throughout the visit.
• No smoking, vaping, glitter, confetti, paint or open flames.
• Ask the host before changing installations or using special effects.

Video and sound

Photography and video work are welcome. Audio recording is not included in standard studio rental. Discuss any production that needs recorded sound with the host before booking.

Changes, cancellations and damages

Agree cancellation, rescheduling, overtime and damage terms directly with the studio before your booking is confirmed. If your plans change, contact the studio with your booking reference.
